After the world wide phenomenon Angry Birds, it’s no surprise that Rovio Mobile would be creating so many new versions of the game soon after. One of the newest versions of the addicting game is Angry Birds Rio, available on the Iphone, Ipad, Itunes, Almost all touch screen phones, and much more.

Inspired straight from the new movie Rio, staring starring Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx, Tracy Morgan and George Lopez. The movie was released on April 15th, 2011 a few weeks after the game was released in March. In Angry Birds Rio there is over 45 levels, with many more coming soon says the company—optional of course, only available with an update. In the game, the levels get increasingly harder as you go further and further into the game, just like most games these days. The objective in Rio is a bit different than the normal version of Angry Birds. In Rio, the Angry Birds characters are kidnapped and taken to Rio de Janeiro, and then the player will need to rescue all the kidnapped birds. Unlike in Angry Birds where all you need to do is get rid of all the green monsters. You’ll still get the Angry Birds experience, but in smoother graphics, and in different objectives.

This game was expected to sweep all Angry Bird veterans along with new Angry Bird players. And it did just that, Angry Birds Rio took everyone, everywhere with addiction, breaking records with an astounding number of 10 million download in the first 10 days of the release. There is no doubt in my mind or anyone else’s that Angry Birds, Rio, Seasons, and all the rest to come are and will be an addicting game that no one will reject to try, which in the end will leave them addicted to the madness of flinging birds on your screen, just like we all were.
