“About three things I am absolutely positive. First Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him- and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be- that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him…”

Bella Swan falls head over heels for the extreme and somewhat dangerous Edward Cullen in the Stephanie Meyer phenomenon Twilight. Bella moves to the small town of Forks, Washington from the warm and sunny Phoenix, Arizona. There she lives with the Chief of Police, which happens to be her father, in a small two bedroom house. Her life consists of taking care of Charlie, school, and homework. Well, at least until she comes into contact with Edward Cullen.

She’s captivated by him, and he can’t stand her. At least not until he gets to know her. But what Bella knows is that just by being with Edward puts her life in danger. And knowing his secret is even worse. No fangs, no cape, and no coffins. He can’t be, can he? Is he? No way. Bella loves someone who is meant to be a monster; and that monster loves her to the moon and back. But when a friendly game of baseball becomes a little more than exciting, will Edward lose everything he’s been waiting for?

This book is exciting and romantic and some points annoying. I would recommend this book to a teen any day. It teaches a lot about love and what people do for each other.
