TaggerungUS                  Stolen from his family when he was just a babe, the otter Taggerung was raised in a vermin clan. Taught in the way of a warrior from when he was strong enough to pick up a tiny dagger, he was undefeatable in combat, able to use his body for fighting and with great prowess with any other type of weapon.  Capable of tracking a butterfly over rocky ground, the lithe, tattooed young otter senses something is missing from his life, something more than just the mere subsistence he currently has. He is haunted by dreams of warmth and safety, red stone walls and a lovely voice singing softly, all things he knows he never had in the Juska clan of harsh, cruel creatures. Questions about his unknown past flood him until one day things come to a head. Sawney Rath, leader of the Juskarath clan, orders Tagg to kill a fox named Felch, who had run away with the chief’s dagger. The otter refused, let the fox free, and ran away from the camp. Tracked by the four most capable clanbeasts, running for his life, the otter found a freedom and happiness he had never known. During Tagg’s epic journey to find the family he lost, he finds creatures who are the true friends he never had.

An exciting adventure story, every page is an edge-of-your seat read. Taggerung is unforgettable, with characters that come to life to weave a story about trust, friendship, and family. Tagg and his friend Nimbalo  the Slayer , a harvest mouse who ran away from his home after being abused by his father,  learn that life is what you make it into. With all the fighting that he’d done, Tagg wonders if it is possible to give up his old life to seek a new one of peace. Don’t be daunted by the length of the book- an intricate plot and an incredible writing style make Taggerung a must-read for anyone who enjoys action-packed, creative fiction.
