This story begins when the 15-year-old wizard, Harry Potter, gets many strange nightmares. He soon gets greeted by some of his old wizarding friends and some he does not know. Together they travel to Grimauld Place the home of his godfather Sirius Black and traveling companion Buckbeak as well as the headquarters of The Order of the Phoenix. A secret organization of some of the most renown witches and wizards of all time, many of the professors and staff at Hogwarts school for witchcraft and wizardry and not to mention some others who want to stop the dark lord Voldemort from his dark magic. He then travels to the enchanted school for young witches and wizards, Hogwarts, with his best friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. Harry soon finds out about a legendary mystical object known as a prophecy that connects his fate to that of the dark lord. Then he, Hermione, Ron, Neville Longbottom, and Luna Lovegood must ride mythical creatures known as Thestrals, which can only be seen by those that have witnessed death, in order to retrieve the prophecy before Voldemort’s followers or Death Eaters can get to it. But they must break into the magical building known as The Ministry of Magic.

I found this book to be an insightful and personal look into the minds of the characters. I would give this book a 4 out of 5 due to the overuse of complex over thinking situations that this book contained. It was a great sequel to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
