Feeling relief, Katniss Everdeen, an intelligent seventeen year old woman, has just made it through the Hunger Games, a horrible punishment from the government. With her, Katniss brought her teammate, Peeta, home. When the two lovebirds return home, they turn against each other. It has now been a year since they escaped the hunger games alive. They have traveled Panem on a victor’s tour and now it is time for the 75th Quarter Quells to begin. President Snow, the president of Panem, reads the “letter” that tells how the games will be set up. After Snow reads the “letter”, Katniss freezes with fear, realizing the she has to go back into the Games with Peeta.

Catching Fire is one of the best books I have ever read! It is the second book of Suzanne Collin’s series. I found it to be a great sequel in the continuation of the Hunger Games story. This book is full of violence, action, romance, drama, mystery and so much more! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series, “Mocking Jay”. I hope that you enjoy this book as much as I did!
