For six years Savannah and Grady have worked hard to hold on to their ranch, after their parent’s deaths, and their brother Richard, the youngest of the Weston’s steals their inheritance money. One day Savannah is driving back from the ghost town, that Grady forbid her from going too, she now knew why. Then she sees a hitch hiker, she normally wouldn’t pick one up but he was different. After Lerado Smith, comes back to the ranch and Grady finally agrees to let him stay he steals Savannah’s heart. Knowing that he needs to leave as soon as he can, he loans money from Grady too fix up his truck and leaves. But does he come back to Savannah? Will his love for her bring him back to her? Meanwhile, Richard shows up. Out of money, and nearly starving, and on the run. Savannah is quick to forgive, Grady on the other hand, gives him the cold shoulder. But he’s family and eventually Grady forgives him. But then, Richard disappears, unfortunately for Grady he leaves a huge amount of debt, which Grady pays off.  Will they ever find Richard? Will he ever learn?

I would recommend this book too probably a girl, it’s a love story, and a mystery, this is the first book in the series and the other books reveal a lot more about the ghost town, but you’d never guess what it is. Or where they find Richard. This series is one of the best I’ve read, it can be boring at parts, but then you realize why those parts were relevant.
