Lucy is ready to love again after being widowed for nearly five and a half years. Ever since her husband Jimmy died, she’s been finding dimes in suspicious places. The more she finds, the more she starts to feel guilty about sleeping with her brother-in-law, Ethan. Lucy thinks the dimes mean Jimmy is still around and knows what she’s doing with his little brother. Lucy begins to feel more and more guilty that Jimmy knows what’s going on, so she says goodbye to Ethan and hello to someone she can spend the rest of her life with. Ethan is trying to convince her that they are meant to be together forever, but will Lucy listen?

This novel is about how romance really works and giving second chances. The book is always told from Lucy’s point of view and how she sees every situation. I think the theme of the book is to forgive and forget and give somebody second chances. I would recommend this book to any mature teenage girl who can handle a romantic yet disturbing book. After you read this book, you will understand why true love is so complicated.
