With a group of Demonic Monkeys on your tail, you are thrown into a reflex tous obsticles in your way such as trees, broken roads, and dead ends. The point of the game is to see how far you can get in a never ending maze that twists, turns, and throws you off within the slitest blink of an eye. The game alows a certain amount of cheats as well. If you can reach them, the cheats are an assortment of coins that give you powers or just extra money. Some examples are the Mega Coin (worth 150 coins), Coin Magnet (multiplies coin value by 3), Invisibility (lasts 30 seconds), and the Boost (for 750 meters). There are also illegal cheats that players have figured out and posted on the internet. Other characters that you can buy are Guy Dangerous, the default explorer, Scarlett Fox, a female explorer, Barry Bones, a cop, Karma Lee, a Far East explorer, Montana Smith, a cowboy, Francisco Montoya, a conquistador, or Zack Wonder, a football player.
Temple Run, an extremely popular free app -witch was downloaded over 1 million times in 3 days- is available on all iOS systems and touch screen phones, including the iPhone, iPad, and the Android platform. It was originally release to the iOS only, but after many delays it was released to the Android March 2012 and was the most popular app by December 2012. With a simple touch or tilt of the screen, you can control your player, make him/her slide, jump, or switch direction. Temple Run is an extremely addicting game that tests your reflexes more and more as it speeds up with each turn. The highest score is unknown for now, but remains some where in the 10 millions.
I would recommend this game to people who have touch screens, obviously, but also to people who like challenging, non violent, first person games. Over all I enjoy playing it and I think its a very interesting, time consuming game.
