“A half blood of the oldest gods

shall reach 16 against all odds,

and see the world in endless sleep

the hero’s soul, cursed blade shall reap,

a single choice shall end his days

Olympians to preserve or raze.”

Percy Jackson was always an odd kid growing up but nothing major happened until his twelfth birthday when he discovered he was a halfblood. In this book he sets out on a quest with his two closest friends, Annabeth and Grover, who have accompanied him on many quests throughout the series. Together they slip through enemy lines, travel to Hades’ realm itself, and cut down whoever or whatever stands in their way. Finally, it all comes down to one demigod’s choice.

This book shows if you truly care about someone you will know their greatest weaknesses and greatest strengths. Good friends will always have your back.

The Last Olympian is the last book of a thrilling series filled with love and death. I enjoyed this book immensely because I love fiction series. I got pulled into this book like a magnet to metal. The ending to this book is action packed with thrilling as well as romantic moments. It had a nice twist at the end that threw me off but topped the book off perfectly.
