“You can’t stop the future, you can`t rewind the past, the only way to learn the secret….is to press play.”

16 year old Clay Jensen came home from school one day to find a shoe-box filled with 7 cassette tapes, addressed to him. After starting to listen to the tapes, he soon finds out that they tapes were recorded by Hannah Baker. Each person who was sent the tapes is one of the thirteen reasons she committed suicide just weeks ago.  Clay had a crush on Hannah, although he didn`t know her too well. He didn`t understand what he did, to be a reason for her killing herself. What did he do? And could have it been prevented, if he did something different?

Thirteen Reasons Why is an extremely well written novel. It is not one of those books that’s hard to get into, or boring to continue reading. Every chapter leaves you with a cliff hanger and forces you to immediately keep reading. I would recommend this book to mostly girls between 13 and 17, but anybody would enjoy it.
