Senior class president Nova Prescott has been looking forward to the perfect prom since she started high school. She just about gets its until a fire ruins all the decorations and her dream. Nova only has three weeks until prom and she’s working solo, at first, to fix the damage. Prom seems pretty much impossible to make perfect in so little time, but with he help of school bad-guy Jesse Richter, who gets in trouble and is forced to help with prom, it might just happen. When Nova’s relationship with Jesse turns from hate to more than friends, how much prom means to her starts to dwindle. Although the decorations get finished and prom is perfect, there’s one little detail missing: Jesse.

Prom portrays the passage from high school to independence as relationships unravel and others ignite. For Nova its a battle of wills as she’s drawn to the guy who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Running an hour and 45 minutes long this movie is sure to sweep you into the magic of what prom really is. I would recomend this movie more for teens girls rather than guys, but it’s not a total chick flick.
