Get her. These words lingered in Cammie Morgan’s mind ever since her friend, Macey’s kidnapping attempt.  It happened last summer.  Cammie and her roommate Macey were up on the roof of a building when mysterious attackers attempted to kidnap Macey.  Using their spy skills, Cammie and Macey were barely able to escape with only a few broken bones and a concussion.   Initially they thought it was because Macey’s Dad was running for office.  However, Cammie noticed the pattern of the ring one of the attackers wore and realized that she had seen it somewhere before.  The mystery was on.

It’s a whole new school year at the Gallagher Academy for Cammie and her friends.  Cammie can’t stop thinking about the ring and decides to snoop around to find out who is behind it.  She finds that the ring belongs to “the Circle of Cavan”, a mysterious group who is the sworn enemy of school founder Gillian Gallagher and her descendents, one of which is Macey.   Many years ago, Gillian Gallagher killed one of the leaders of the Circle of Caravan and they’ve sworn revenge.

Cammie and her friends spend the school year finding out more about the Circle of Cavan including breaking many school rules as usual.  Later in the school year, another kidnapping attempt happens.  They learn that the kidnappers were actually after Cammie and not Macey.  Now the question is, why are they after Cammie?

Throughout out her third year at Gallagher Academy, Cammie learns the importance of friendship and teamwork as she and her friends try to protect Macey.  Cammie realizes that she cannot solve all of her problems alone and it’s not a sign of weakness to ask for help.  Cammie also comes to find out that she has a lot to learn about her family and the school.

This is a fun book for readers who prefer action and mysteries.  This third book in the Gallagher Girls series and, like the other two before it, it is fast paced and interesting.  The third book sets the stage for the final installment in the series when many of the questions that have faced Cammie will be answered.
