Cammie Morgan attends a spy school for girls. As far as she knows it’s the only school like it. But soon she finds that there are going to be some guests, and it will put all of her knowledge to the test.

After a long winter break Cammie Morgan is back in school and ready to put her days with her ex-boyfriend, Josh, behind her. However she isn’t prepared for the test that lies ahead. Her mother has invited some guests called Blackthorn. It turns out that it is a spy school for boys and about fifteen of them are going to stay at the Gallagher Academy for a semester. At first it seems that there is no information on them at all. Yet as she gets involved, she seems to not only learn more about them, but also develop more questions. There are so many questions she is asking; yet no one will give her answers. After a shocking photograph of her father with one of her teachers and wearing a shirt that says Blackthorn, the truth starts to be revealed. Suddenly there is a Code Black at the school and Cammie is blamed for it. Not many people believe that she is innocent and soon Cammie is searching for more answers with the help of her friends. The strange thing is nothing like this has happened until the boys arrived.

Throughout the book Cammie learns that life may offer her many surprises and that her school isn’t the only one of its kind. Cammie learns to work with people she doesn’t fully trust at first. She learns that teamwork is very important when you’re a spy.

This book would be great for people who like a twist of action and romance. You’ll never be bored reading this book. There is a different adventure starting on every page and there is never a boring moment. Other readers have said that it is a great book and it is an adventure waiting to happen. This is the second book in a series of four. People have also said that if you liked the first one, then you will love this one.
