Ellie Harrison was an average high school girl. She was never noticed by guys and definitely wasn’t considered a “plastic”. Until the day she went to the park in her new neighborhood and saw him. The guy who changed her life forever. As she caught herself in a fight between good and evil.

His name was A. William Wagner. To Ellie, the most beautiful boy in school. Kind, gorgeous and ready to lend a helping hand to anyone, Ellie is taken by complete surprise when he shows an active interest in her. With him already having a girlfriend, Jennifer, the most popular girl in school, and his best friend Lance, the best looking guy in school, things seem really weird. There was something strange going on behind Will’s back that was about to put everyone in complete shock. How did Ellie get in to the popular crowd so fast? Why did it seem like she’s known Will from a past life? Everything comes t ogether when the bizarre drama starts to unfold. Were the pieces she put together not just a coincidence but true and really happening?  Ellie was no longer an average high school girl. She had a role to play in something her herself couldn’t believe. A. William Wagner was a reincarnation of King Arthur. Ellie doesn’t know if she can stop the coming trouble, but somehow, she knows she has to try.

Avalon High is a fun, suspenseful retelling of the King Arthur legend. There’s action, drama, romance, mystery and so many thrilling moments. I myself, have read this book at least four times. It’s the kind of book you never want to put down . This book shows you how important it is to go with your heart and never let anyone hold you down. Meg Cabot is a great author who in my opinion, writes books you’ll never be disappointed with. This book is mostly geared toward teenage girls, but I think a boy who really is interested in the King Arthur legend would enjoy this book too.
